I still...

...owe this site the Thailand stories and pictures that I promised, I think I’ll break the promise (again again). With all the rackets, wedding preps/ shower for Pen and Christmas hullabaloo that I’m attending to I don’t have the time anymore. So here are some photos, hopefully I’ll be very bored next year that I eventually decide to work on the pictures and stories of the past trips I had.

This is what I do most of the time when inside the hotel - I watch the Mondo (Chinese) MTV hehehe

with Jenny - The Grand Palace grounds

At Wat Pho

To Mo Chit (BTS station)

Goofing inside Starbucks Coffee (in Patpong), one of Rov's very creative idea lifting the gigantic cup with my tiny point finger

At the Emerald Buddha temple

the very famous TukTuk taxi of Bangkok

The lying Buddha at Wat Pho

at The Marble Temple with Rovs

girls at play - I haven't been on a swing for a very long time, I think the last one was when I was still in high school (yes I know... ages ago) - enjoying the Chatuchak Playground with Jen

Love at First Sight - Subway style

Will somebody do this for me???? Please??

Awww....

I was browsing through featured articles on the web earlier today when I came upon this romantic story about a guy riding a subway then fell in love instantly to a woman sitting across from him inside the train. He made this cutesy and detailed website to find the girl. He felt bad that he wasn't able to say anything or even manage to start a conversation with the girl and with that HE HAS TO FIND HER!!!

Search the web for "new york girl of my dreams" for more feedback on this great love story.

Patrick's (the guy on the subway) website for the girl is www.nygirlofmydreams.com

Now who wants to make one for me??? How sad, no one?

Good night guys! I just thought I'd share this cute story with all of you.

Jo, He's not the Boy who cried Wolf... he's BEOWULF

If you guys are thinking of watching Beowulf in cinemas you better opt for the IMAX experience. I watched it last night with Jo where a full length 3D animation was showcased. I love Angelina Jolie in this movie, although it is animated I still believe that it is Angie’s real body (as opposed to Ray Winstone’s bod in this flick hehehe – watch the movie first then search through yahoo or imdb on what Ray aka Beowulf looks like).

It is in a way dark and gory (why would it not be? Neil Gaiman wrote the screenplay) and Robert Zemeckis’ impressive creation will make you remember the Polar Express.

So take my word for it, if you want to watch it ready your P400 and watch it in IMAX, it is worth your money (in my case Joel’s money hehehe).

PS: thanks Jo for the “initial bday treat”, looking forward to the “babawi ka pa rin treat”.

Thailand Teaser

The last time I was there (2 years ago) I was on my own and was there for a conference. It was an office related trip that is why I wasn’t able to see the richness of its culture and sights. But this time I was able to see a part of Bangkok and was there with friends to enjoy. Stories and pictures will be posted soon.
